The Spurriergate Centre bells

The back 5, tenor 8-2-15 in A

The back five (retuned 1988) were the front five of the 1681 ring of twelve bells at York Minster. The tenor of this five (cast in 1466 by Thomas Innocent of Leicester) was prior to 1655 the treble of the Minster's medieval ring of eight bells.
